چکیده
ABSTRACT Objective: To assess the capacity of Charlson, SAPS 3 and SOFA scores to predict acute kidney injury, need for dialysis, death in intensive care unit patients. Method: Prospective cohort, with 432 individuals admitted four units. Clinical characteristics at admission, severity profile, intensity were analyzed using association correlation tests. The sensitivity specificity assessed ROC curve. Results: results show that patients injury older (65[27] years vs. 60[25] years, p = 0.019) mostly are from emergency department (57.9% 38.0 %, < 0.001), when compared those group without injury. For dialysis prediction, AUC: 0.590; 95%CI: 0.507–0.674; p-value: 0.032 0.667; 0.591–0.743; 0.000, respectively. All performed well death. Conclusion: prognostic showed good Charlson Comorbidity Index predictive death; however, it did not perform dialysis.

Risk factors of acute kidney injury and dialysis among patients attending intensive care units in China
Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in intensive care unit (ICU) is highly morbid and fatal conditions and patients who received dialysis portend even worse outcomes. Current prospective observational study was aimed to evaluate the risk factors associated with AKI and dialysis among patients attending ICU during predefined period of six months. Predisposing factors were evaluated by using logistic regre...

متن کاملDynamic Predictive Scores for Cardiac Surgery–Associated Acute Kidney Injury
BACKGROUND Cardiac surgery-associated acute kidney injury (CSA-AKI) is a common complication with a poor prognosis. In order to identify modifiable perioperative risk factors for AKI, which existing risk scores are insufficient to predict, a dynamic clinical risk score to allow clinicians to estimate the risk of CSA-AKI from preoperative to early postoperative periods is needed. METHODS AND R...
